Our online practice offers psychiatric diagnostics and treatment.
The new information technologies allow psychiatric consultation and treatment without direct patient contact, which is why I would like to offer my consultation hours online. The service includes the diagnostics and treatment of the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders. Our main focus is on:

* Please note that the stimulants that are considered first-line treatment for ADHD are not available in Georgia.
Procedure

You can book the appointment for the online consultation in the calendar. There are two appointment options available, for 60 minutes or for 30 minutes. Please book 60 minutes for the initial consultation and 30 minutes for subsequent appointments. After booking the appointment, you will receive an e-mail confirming your appointment and the link for the video call.

In the next step, please download the treatment contract and the medical history form, both of which can be found under the menu item "Documents". Please sign the contract and complete the medical history form.

Then please transfer the corresponding fee to the bank account indicated below. You can use PayPal as a payment option as well.

Next, send the payment confirmation, the medical history form and the treatment contract (in .pdf or .jpg format) to our e-mail address below.
You only need to send the treatment contract and the medical history form before the first appointment. For subsequent appointments, you only need to send us the confirmation of payment. In case of payment via PayPal no confirmation of payment is needed.
The booked video consultation can only take place once we have received all three documents. If we do not receive these documents at least one day before the appointment, the appointment will be canceled.
Preparation for the online conversation:
For the video call, please sit in front of the computer in a room shielded from external noise. You must be alone in the room. The presence of other people during the interview must be agreed with the doctor. The room should be acoustically insulated. The voices of the patient and the doctor should not be audible to people in the neighboring room. Optionally, you can also use headphones. The computer must be equipped with a video camera. For the initial consultation, we recommend activating the link 5 minutes earlier to ensure that the microphone and video camera are working. A stable internet connection that is sufficient for video transmission must be guaranteed.
About me
I completed my medical studies in 2002 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
After that I worked as an assistant doctor and researcher at the M. Asatiani Psychiatric Scientific Research Institute and in 2007 I obtained a specialist degree in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
Between 2005-2006 I completed a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuropsychology and Psychopathology in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
In 2008 I moved to Berlin, where I initially worked as a visiting scientist at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin at the Charité Campus Mitte in the genetics working group.
I started my specialist training in Germany at Vivantes Klinikum Hellersdorf and moved to the Psychiatric University Clinic of the Charité at St. Hedwig Hospital Berlin in 2011, where I obtained a specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy in 2016.
In 2018, I completed my doctorate at the Charité on the topic of "Potential Biomarkers of Schizophrenia - Three Genetic Studies" and was awarded the academic degree of Dr. med.
From 2017 to 2020, I worked at various clinics where among other things I devoted a lot of time to the psychiatric care of refugees from Syria, Pakistan and Chechnya (Russian Federation).
In 2020, I was deputy head of department at the hospital of the penitentiary system Berlin.
Since 2021 I have been working in the outpatient clinic of the Fliedner Klinik Berlin.
In addition to my therapeutic work, I work as an expert witness for Berlin courts in the fields of civil and criminal law.
My special interests are evidence-based psychopharmacotherapy and behavioral therapy approaches in psychiatry. I have many years of experience in outpatient psychiatric treatment and am familiar with the entire spectrum of mental disorders.
In addition to my native Georgian, I am fluent in German, English and Russian and treat patients in all four languages.
